A control device, in particular a valve for wind instruments, has a tapered rotating body (1) with a flow opening (12) in its front face and a flow opening (13) in its circumference, several of these tapered rotating bodies being arranged in each wind instrument valve. The rotation of these rotating bodies (1) can be controlled in various ways. Further disclosed is the use of this system of tapered rotating bodies with corresponding housings in areas of machine construction, in particular its use as a mixing battery or as a control element in the energy technology (turbines) or as a safety valve. |
