SOUND FIELD REPRODUCING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To suppress generation of an effect sound against an abnormal sound by decreasing an input level to an effect sound signal arithmetic means at the changeover of acoustic sources and at application of power or the like. CONSTITUTION:A control section 7 sets the coefficient of a multiplier 21 in a digital signal processor 1 to 0 till lapse of a prescribed time form a leading of a power voltage or from the operation of a changeover switch such as a relay. The time is set shorter by nearly 20msec than the time from the leading of the power voltage till an output of a mute signal to a mute circuit. Thus, the input of a pop noise sound generated within 0.2-0.3sec from the leading of the power supply voltage or the like is inhibited to an initial reflecting sound generating circuit 24 and a reverberation generating circuit 25 of the post stage of the multiplier 21. Thus, the production of the abnormal sound by the effect sound signal from the processor 1 is suppressed.
