PURPOSE:To ease the location of a light source by providing a coil spring between a glass tube of a discharge lamp and stems, adjusting the position of the glass tube, and then fixing the coil spring with solder. CONSTITUTION:A discharge lamp used for a light source of an exposing device comprises a circular arc glass tube 1 and stems 2 on the ends of the tube 1, and is held by fixing the stems 2 on terminal plates 4, 5 of a locator 3, the glass tube 1 and stems 2 are jointed together by engaging both ends of a coil spring 18 made of phosphor bronze, the locator 3 is mounted on a lamp house, and the discharge lamp is lighted on. If the location of the light source deviates from the standard, the glass tube 1 is moved to adjust the location, and the spring 18 is fixed with solder or adhesive. Thus, the light source can be adjusted easily to the standard location, and an exposing device of high accuracy can be obtained. |
