PURPOSE:To suppress the influence of a runaway of a sub-microcoputer to a main microcomputer by using the reset signal used at runaway of the main microcomputer to control the sub-microcomputer and at the same time inhibiting the communication between both microcomputer with use of the reset signal of the sub-microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:A runaway monitor circuit 11 outputs a reset signal with occur rence of the runaway of a main microcomputer 1 and resets the microcomputer 1. At the same time, the reset signal is also supplied to a sub-microcomputer 2 via an OR circuit 14 to reset the microcomputer 2. Meanwhile, the reset signal outputted from a runaway monitor circuit 12 for the runaway of the microcomputer 2 is also supplied to a port A of the microcomputer 1. Thus a communication inhibiting means 16 inhibits the communication carried out between both microcomputer 1 and 2 by a communication means 3. Thus, the supply of wrong information is prevented at runaway of the microcomputer 2. Then the influence of the runaway the microcomputer 2 to the microcomputer 1 is minimized. |
