<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a water heater heating a small quantity of liquid efficiently and securing safety from a scald or the like by a construction wherein an immersion drive means is operated with a switch means operated and thereby a heater is immersed into a liquid in a vessel set on a support stage of a main body. CONSTITUTION:When a motor M is driven and a second arm 25 fixed to a drive shaft 26 thereof rotates clockwise, a first arm 24 moves downward. With the downward movement of this arm 24, a movable stage 20 joined to one end thereof lowers. When the arm rotates, subsequently, the movable stage 20 lowers to the lower limit position, this is detected by a microswitch 23 and thereby the motor M is stopped. Then, a heater 6 is lowered with the lowering of the movable stage 20 and immersed into water Q in a cup C set on a receiving part 2a of a support stage 2. When the motor M is driven again and the arm 25 is made to rotate clockwise, the arm 24 is made to move upward. Therefore the movable stage 20 rises to the upper limit position, a switch 22 detects the movable stage 20 coming to the upper limit position, and thereby the drive of the motor M is stopped.</p> |
