PURPOSE:To obtain a necessary image within the shortest time and to reduce the load of an examinee by displaying a reconstituted tomographic image in parallel to the collection of data and completing the collection of data at the point of time when an image of good quality is obtained. CONSTITUTION:The data collected by a gamma camera 4 is taken in a computer 6 at a definite time interval and the computer 6 executes image reconstituting processing in parallel to the collection of data and displays the image reconstituted in parallel to the image processing on a display apparatus 7. Therefore, the data in a concerned region is automatically monitored at every definite time and the collection of data is automatically completed when the standard deviation of data becomes most smaller than a definite value or the collection of data can be completed when a doctor observes the reconstituted image to judge the same as an image of good quality and, therefore, an image forming time is shortened and the load of a patient can be reduced.
