PURPOSE:To provide an immune-reinforcing, infection-preventing agent useful for various diseases and various pathogenic microorganism-infected diseases caused by the depression in the immunological ability of a living body by incorporating albumin into the agent. CONSTITUTION:Raw albumen, all egg powder, albumen powder, a digestive enzyme-treated albumen fraction or albumen-constituting component as an active ingredient is compounded with conventional carrier, excipient, buffer and other additives and the composition is formed in the objective agent by a conventional method. The agent may be prepared in an oral administration shape such as tablet, capsule, powder, granule or syrup. The albumen is administered in a dose of >=1mg, preferably 10mg-2g, per kg of body a day in a case of the albumen powder. The agent may be added to foods such as water, milk, artificial milk and functional foods, e.g. healthy foods, or to feeds. |
