PURPOSE:To obtain a stable output, by providing a valve, which is larger in diameter than a small-diameter laser tube, in a cold cathode casing provided on one end of the small-diameter laser tube of a cold cathode gas laser tube. CONSTITUTION:In a cathode casing 1 of a cold cathode gas laser tube, which has a small-diameter laser tube 2 one end of which is provided with a cathode casing 1 equipped with a mirror 7 and an optical window 4 and the other end of which is provided with an anode casing 3 equipped with a mirror 7' and an optical window 4', a cathode-protecting valve 8 which is larger in diameter than the laser tube 2 is provided. It is possible, by doing so, to hold the small-diameter tube uprightly, make the maximum adjustment of laser output and obtain a safe laser output. |
