PURPOSE:To simply clean dirt on an objective lens by constituting a cartridge with a cleaning member which comes in slide contact with the objective lens and making the member go out and in according to the loading operation. CONSTITUTION:When the cleaning cartridge is inserted and pushed into a disk driving device from a front panel, a shutter is kept opening and moving, and when an opening part 34 of a case-like main body 32 is passed over a turntable 12, a slide lever 45 is slid. By sliding this lever 45, a rotary body 41 of the cleaning member is turned, and a brush 43 implanted on the member is projected to an outer panel side of a bottom part through the opening part 34 of the main body 32, so that dust, etc., stuck to the surface of the objective lens 13a of a pickup 13 are removed. Afterward, the shutter is slid in its closing direction, passing over the table 12, and then the cartridge is ejected. By repeating the above cartridge inserting and ejecting operation, the cleaning of the lens 13a is almost completely performed. |
