Cart, the engine (2), the seat (29), and the steering (26, 43) of which have the particular feature of being mounted centred on the longitudinal axis (35). The exhaust and the transmission pass under the legs of the driver. The tank is located under the seat in a centred fashion, on the centre of gravity of the vehicle. A universal joint compensates for misalignments of the shaft (8) with the output from the engine (2). The front part (30) of the chassis (1) is dismantleable and interchangeable.
