The invention relates to a visiting card case 1, in which the cards lie in a stack in a space 6 delimited by the walls of the case and which has been provided with a slot 11, which is located in the end face of the case and can be passed through by the card 20 and through which the cards can be fed out from the case one at a time. According to the invention, in the said space beneath the cards stack 19 there is a spring 9, which holds the edge of the uppermost card in the stack next to the slot 11, the lid 5 of the case has been constructed with an opening which enables the uppermost card 20 in the stack to be ejected by use of a finger 22, and in the space beneath the cards stack there is another spring 10, located further away from the slot, which absorbs the compression force resulting from ejection of the cards and acting upon the cards stack. With a view to filling of the case, the lid 5 can be partially or fully opening and, when the lid lies adjacent to the ejection slot 11 for the cards, the lid can be formed asymmetrically in such a way that the width of the slot can be adjusted by reversal of the lid so as to be suitable for cards of two different thicknesses. In addition, it is possible to fix to the bottom of the case a series of flat plastics pockets 13 for received cards. <IMAGE>
