PURPOSE:To relieve protection of a clamp and to prevent degradation of clamping force by making grooves or holes for receiving abrasion powder or holes for discharging abrasion power in the surface of a shaft. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of square groove sections 11 are made in lines in the axial direction in the surface of a shaft 1. Since abrasion powder is received in the grooves 11 and is not left on the surface of the shaft 1, abrasion is not promoted nor the moving function is damaged. Alternatively, square grooves 11a may be arranged spirally on the surface of the shaft, or a hollow shaft 1 having holes in the surface may be employed. Blind holes or through- holes may also be provided. When a hollow shaft is employed, abrasion powder stored in the shaft can be removed by inserting a vacuum pipe into the shaft. |
