PURPOSE:To make it possible to set luminance at a desired level over the upper limit even if the upper limit is set by a main apparatus by enabling a controlling sub apparatus to release the upper limit of light intensity which is set by the main apparatus as well as to revert the released upper limit. CONSTITUTION:When the upper limit is set by a main operational board 1, in the case that a set upper limit releasing/reverting switch 8 of a manual light modulating switch 4 of a light modulating terminal device 3 is turned on, the upper limit set by the operational board 1 is released and light intensity is controlled according to a light modulation controlling data of the light intensity set by a light intensity volume 6 of the switch 4. When the switch 8 is turned off, the light modulating terminal device 3 computes the light modulation controlling data of the operational board 1 and the light intensity data from the switch 4 and put out an light modulation signal. In this way, even if the upper limit is set by a main apparatus, the luminance can be set at a desired intensity over the upper limit by the switch 4 and convenience is improved. |
