<p>PURPOSE:To increase the flying distance and the flying speed by providing a cylindrical structure on a ball hitting implement, and providing a weight being movable in the axial direction in the cylindrical structure. CONSTITUTION:In a cylindrical body 1, a weight 3 is contained in its inside so as to be movable in the axial direction, and a cap 2 is provided on one end part of the cylindrical body 1. It is desirable that the weight 3 is formed by lead and other metal whose specific gravity is large. In a head 4, a cylindrical hole 4b is pierced from the opposite side of a face member 4a, and for instance, the cylindrical body 1 is fixed to the hole 4b by an adhesive agent. In the end of a take-back operation, the weight 3 moves in the direction of the cap 2, comes into collision with the bottom part of the cylindrical body 1 in a moment of impact, and its collision is utilized as energy of a hit ball. In a wood club of golf, the face member 4a and a sole plate 4c are installed, and the moving weight can be formed integrally with those members. Also, although there are plural pieces, they are provided together in the arrangement and orientation desired by the weight, suite spot becomes large, or the balance between the moving weights can be taken.</p> |
