PURPOSE:To enable quick settling in a steady rotation through single switching operation of frequency by switching the driving frequency upon reaching a predetermined rotational speed if the steady rotational speed is higher than the predetermined rotational speed whereas switching the driving frequency upon reaching the steady rotational speed if the steady rotational speed is lower than the predetermined rotational speed. CONSTITUTION:When the steady rotational speed corresponding to the driving frequency fo for providing a highest rising rate to a given load is no, driving is started with the frequency fo if the required steady rotational speed (n) is higher than no. When the rotational speed reaches no, the vibration wave motor is driven with frequency (f) corresponding to the steady rotational speed (n). Driving is started with the frequency fo if the required steady rotational speed (n) is lower than no and when the rotational speed reaches the steady rotational speed (n), the motor is driven with the frequency (f) corresponding to the steady rotational speed (n). |
