PURPOSE:To reduce th circuit scale of the printer by outputting a preset conversion address corresponding to a readout address based on the mode selected from a storage means storing print mode control information such as erected picture, reversed picture, split picture and magnified picture of a frame picture. CONSTITUTION:When a vertical address counter 14 outputs a readout vertical address in order from '1', for example, 1 is outputted as an initial readout vertical address from a horizontal address counter 16 and readout address changes as 11,21,...,81. When the counter 14 counts 8, a countup signal is fed from the counter 14 to the counter 16 and the counter 16 outputs '2'. Then the read address changes as 12,22,...,82. When the readout address is inputted to the frame memory 2 in this way, the frame memory 2 outputs a picture data corresponding to the readout addresses 11-88 and the picture data is printed out and an erected picture is obtained. |
