摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To accurately measure a voltage/electric field intensity in a wide range with a single sensor by providing a 1st polarizer, Pockels element, 1st 1/8 wavelength plate, half mirror, 2nd 1/8 wavelength plate and 2nd polarizer. CONSTITUTION:The 1/8 wavelength plate 12, half mirror 13, 1/8 wavelength plate 16, and polarizing beam splitter 17 are arranged at one end surface of the Pockels element 11 in order described above, and a polarizing beam splitter 14 is arranged at the other surface and a reflection mirror 15 is arranged at the side surface thereof. A reflection mirror 18 is arranged at the side surface of polarizing beam splitter 17, and an optical waveguide body 19 is arranged at the side surface of Pockels ele ment 11. When a light of LED 26 is inputted to the reflection mirror 15 through an optical fiber 20 and a rod lens 23, the light of CH1 taken out from the polarizer 14 after reflecting and going/returning to the Pockels element 11, has high sensitivity but a narrow measuring range, whereas the light of CH2 taken out from the optical waveguide body 19 has low sensitivity but a wide measuring range since the Pockels element is thereby propagated only to one direction. By changing over the measuring range and sensitivity in accordance with the electric field intensity of an object to be measured, measurement can be performed with high accuracy in the wide range, and the cost can be lowered.</p>
