<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a combined breaking test device for circuit breaker possible to perform the breaking test in the condition closed to the actual using state of breaker by connecting a transformer in parallel with the breaker to be tested and adjusting a reactor at the secondary side of transformer. CONSTITUTION:An excitation for a short-circuited generator 1 and the value of a current limiting reactor in a circuit of current source are set so as to enable the supply of a specific breaking current Ip to the breaker 4 to be tested, thereby the current Ii of current source is supplied. In this case, a transient recovery voltage at the instantaneous time of current breaking is adjusted by a resistor 9 for adjusting the transient recovery voltage and a capacitor 10 for adjusting the same, then the recovery voltage with the frequency generated by a resonance of the circuit is impressed between the electrodes of breaker 4 to be tested. By means of adjusting a reactor 12 connected to the secondary side of transformer 11, the recovery voltage with arbitrary frequency is obtained and the combined breaking test for breaker is made possible at the frequency used in the breaker.</p> |
