Mould producing hollow concrete cylinder - has plate which remains in place after concrete has hardened

The method is for prodn. of a concrete component of hollow cylindrical form with a flat end wall. The method involves the use of a mould whcih has a cylindrical core (14) and a hollow cylindrical outer form (16) with an annular space (24) between the core (14) and form (16). A flat plate is placed on the upper end face (14b) of the core (14). The dia. of this plate (34) is such that it projects over the edge of the core (14) but leaves a radial gap through which the annular space (24) can be filled with concrete. After the concrete has hardened the core (14) and form (16) are removed but the plate (34) remains in place. USE - Prefab. hollow concrete cylinders.
