A metal-free, oxidic coating composition comprising at least one glass frit having a softening point of <480 DEG C as binder, one or more inorganic inert substances, and an adhesive which simultaneously acts as oxidation catalyst, is used to coat metal substrates, in particular stainless steel, aluminium and aluminised steel, to form continuously self-cleaning coatings on the inside walls of cookers, ovens and grills. |
