The appts. to dry moving webs, such as at a printing or coating machine, has a fan blower (6) in the gas flow path between two jet zones (11,12) so that one jet zone (11) is connected to the suction side and the other jet zone (12) is connected to the pressure side of the same fan blower (6). ADVANTAGE - The appts. gives a heat set action to the moving web, in an assembly which can be accessed and monitored easily, and which has a cost-effective operation.
