Pig for cleaning pipeline - is driven along pipeline by pressure medium

The product pipe-line (6) which extends from a pipe (6a) to a pipe (6b) has its bore cleaned by a pig (I). The pig (I) is inserted into the pipeline at the station (7) and driven along the pipeline by a pressure medium to the station (8) where it abuts against stops (8b). A device (8a) emits a signal to indicate the position of the pig. The station (7) has an enlarged dia. and is connected to pipes (9a, 9b) through which the cleaning medium can flow away. The pig (I) is held stationary at the station (7) by means of an adjustable stop. USE - Cleaning pipelines.
