The drive contains a rotatable, axially static threaded spindle and a spindle nut which works in conjunction with it, and is connected to a sample holder adjustable towards a knife. The spindle nut consists of two rotationally fixed but axially mutually movable displaceable partial nuts (2a,2b). The partial nuts are spring braced w.r.t. each other in the axial direction. The bracing is performed by a compression spring (10), esp. a flat spring, a corrugated spring washer or at least one coil spring. The partial nuts are locked together in rotation by a pin (28) attached to one which engages a slot in the other other. |
