PURPOSE:To restrain the vibration of an engine by providing closed elastic films in which magnetic fluid is filled between both side faces of a vibration isolating rubber and the inner periphery face of an outer cylinder and equipping the elastic films with electromagnetic coils for forming magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:A vibration isolating rubber 2 is arranged across the inside of an outer cylinder 1 which is fixed to a base. An inner cylinder 3 connected to a vibrator is held in the vibration isolating rubber 2. Between the side faces 2a, 2b of the vibration isolating rubber 2 and the inner periphery face of the outer cylinder 1 in opposition thereto, are provided closed elastic films which have both ends connected to the respective faces thereof. Magnetic fluid L is filled into the elastic films 4, and electromagnetic coils 5 for forming magnetic field by proper electrification are equipped in the elastic films 4. In this way, during idling a vehicle a small spring constant of vibration isolator is used to absorb vibration. Also, during a sudden state of the vehicle a great spring constant of vibration isolator is used to restrain swinging oscillation of an engine. |
