PURPOSE:To improve cutting work efficiency by controlling a contact type cutting means to turn by a part equivalent to the angle of displacement detected by a position detecting means to cut one joint pipe part, and controlling the contact type cutting means to turn by a specified angle to cut the other joint pipe part. CONSTITUTION:A cutter device A is inserted into a required height position in a body pipe part B to hold/fix a casing 1 at the peripheral wall inner face of the body pipe part B by holding means 2. Since the azimuth indicated value preset to zero at the time of inserting the cutter device changes, a grinder wheel cutter device 4 is turned in the reverse direction by a part equal to the changed azimuth so as to rotate a grindstone cutter 19 to cut one joint pipe part C to be cut. The grinder wheel cutter device 4 is then turned by 180 deg. to cut the other joint pipe part C. A turning shaft 3 is further elevated to conform the position of the nozzle 26 of a plasma torch 25 to the height position of the grinder wheel cutter 19 so as to cut the uncut part of the body pipe part B by a plasma arc cutter device 5. |
