The loadbearing wall panel of storey height consists of lightweight concrete with inbuilt reinforced standard concrete columns arranged in two rows parallel to the wall surface. The standard concrete columns (1) are reinforced with pre-stressed steel inlays (3). These are square in section so their diagonals run parallel to the vertical surfaces (4,5) of the wall. ADVANTAGE - Prestressed steel inlay reinforcement for columns is easily produced and completed as panels for lengthing with lightweight concrete infill.
