Liq. temp. controller esp. for thermostat - has evaporative and air heat exchangers in cooling system

A temp. controller for liq. media, esp. for use in thermostats, has a cooling device, a heating device and a circulation pump. The cooling device has an evaporative heat exchanger (7), which operates with a refrigerant and forms part of a refrigerator, and an air heat exchanger (5). The liq. medium is passed, via a valve system (8), through these heat exchangers (5,7) separately or together in accordance with a preset target value and the temp. of the medium. ADVANTAGE - Corners of large temp. range (e.g. from -50deg.C. or less to +300 deg.C. or more), while having relatively low constuction cost. Cooling device allows rapid and continuous cooling, e.g. from above +150 deg.C.
