PURPOSE: To attain improved air flow by providing a battery-driven type air flowing means which is in a housing and is provided with a fan for flowing air and a freshening means for supplying a source of deodorizing material in a path of air flow. CONSTITUTION: An air freshener is provided with housings 25, 35, the battery- driven type air flowing means 90, 95, 96 which are in the housings and are provided with the fan 95 for flowing air, and a cartridge 110 for supplying the source of the deodorizing material 125 in the path of air flow. The fan 95 has a hub 96, at least a part of a motor 90 of the air flowing means is held by the hub 96 and is joined thereto to rotate the fan 95 and the motor 90 is protected by the hub 96 from pollutants in the air. Consequently improved air flow can be attained via 21 self-contained type air freshener. |
