PURPOSE:To entirely prevent the splashing of waste toners in a housing part at the time of or after discarding and the possibility of polluting environment by mixing the powder or small pieces of plastic contg. a material to plasticize a styrene resin at the time of discharging the powdery waste toner contg. the styrene resin recovered in a cleaning stage to the housing part. CONSTITUTION:This device has the 1st housing part 3 which houses the waste toners contg. the styrene resin recovered in the cleaning stage of an image forming device of an electrophotographic system and the 2nd housing part 4 which houses the powder or small pieces of the plastic contg. the material to plasticize the styrene resin. The powder or small pieces of the plastic contg. the material to plasticize the styrene resin are mixed with the powdery waste toners contg. the styrene resin recovered in the cleaning stage at the time the above-mentioned waste toners are discharged to the housing part 3. The powdery waste toners are, therefore, plasticized and melted by the effect of the material to plasticize the styrene resin, by which the waste material of the gel or solid shape is formed in the housing part 3. The splashing of the waste toners in the housing part at the time of or after the discarding and the possibility of generating a powder dust explosion are entirely eliminated in this way. |
