PURPOSE:To reduce operational force, when a door is opened and closed, so as to control power assist force by providing a pinion and a rack respectively in a slide door and a body and controlling and output of a motor in accordance with operational force of a sensor provided in a knob of the door. CONSTITUTION:A pinion 3 is provided in a slide door 1 for a vehicle, and an electric motor 5 is provided in the door 1 and connected to this pinion 3. Next, a rack 11 is provided in a body 9 and meshed with the pinion 3, and an operational force sensor 15 is provided in both sides of a knob 13 of the door 1 and connected to a control unit 17. Operational force of the knob 13 is detected by the operational force sensor 15, and its signal is transmitted to the control unit 17. Then the control unit 17 controls the electric motor 5 in accordance with the operational force of the knob. The electric motor 5 is controlled by connecting a manual switch 19 and a car speed sensor 21 to the control unit 17. In this way, the door 1 can be safely opened and closed by reducing the operational force. |
