发明名称 AMORPHOUS ALLOY CATALYST FOR DECOMPOSING FLUOROCARBON
摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance the activity of the amorphous alloy catalyst for decomposing fluorocarbon and to facilitate the regeneration of the catalyst by dipping an amorphous alloy having a specified composition in hydrofluoric acid to activate the alloy to prepare the catalyst. CONSTITUTION:An amorphous alloy contg. 20-70 atom % of one or two kinds between Nb and Ta, 0.5-20 atom % of >=1 kind of element among Ru, Pd, Rh, Pt and Ir and the balance consisting essentially of one or two kinds between Ni and Co is dipped in hydrofuoric acid, and activated to produce an amorphous alloy catalyst for decomposing fluorocarbon. When the alloy is dipped in hydrofluoric acid, the element not so effective in activity are dissolved, the platinum- group element rich is catalytic activity is concentrated on the surface, and a highly active catalyst is obtained.
