PURPOSE:To obtain the subject decorative sheet improved in rate of dimensional change and crack resistance by mixing a melamine resin with a thermoplastic resin emulsion, impregnating paper substrates with the resultant impregnating resin, laminating the plural sheets and hot molding the impregnated substrates under pressure. CONSTITUTION:The objective decorative sheet obtained by mixing a melamine resin prepared by reacting 1mol melamine with 1.2-3.0mol formaldehyde in an amount of 100 pts.wt. expressed in terms of solid content with a thermoplastic resin emulsion (preferably acrylic emulsion) in an amount of 5-100 pts.wt. solid content to provide an impregnating resin, laminating paper substrates therewith, laminating the plural sheets of the resultant substrates and hot molding the laminated substrates (e.g. at 130 deg.C under 80kg/cm<2> for 30min hot clamping time and then cooling the substrates) under pressure. |
