PURPOSE:To obtain frozen prawns having few breakage by putting prawns and cold water to embed the prawns in a tray of given depth partitioned with dividing members at given intervals, rapidly freezing the prawns pulling out the dividing members and forming channel parts. CONSTITUTION:Dividing members 5 are uprightly laid in the width direction at given intervals in the longer direction in a tray 3 of given depth, are brought in the width direction into contact with the tray 3, the lower parts of the dividing members are made at given intervals at the bottom of the tray 3, prawns and cold water 4 to embed the prawns are put in the tray 3 partitioned with the dividing members 5, the prawns are rapidly frozen together with the tray 3, and packed in ice, the dividing members 5 are pulled out, channel parts 8 are formed in the ice to give the objective frozen prawns. |
