<p>PURPOSE:To miniaturize an exhaust gas purifier and to make the latter light weight, by providing only one hot-air supply means and by eliminating an additional hot-air passage so as to lessen the number of necessary parts. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas which is discharged through a pipe 2 from a diesel engine or the like and is introduced through a flow passage diversing valve 9 into one of filters 81, 82 that are arranged in parallel, is purified and then discharged to the atmosphere through a pipe 7. A portion 105 in opposite to an exhaust gas inlet portion 6 through the diversing valve 9 is supplied with hot air for reforming the filters 81, 82 through a pipe 10. ASccordingly, the hot air is introduced into one of filters 81, 82 which is out of operation, for burning fine particles in the filter to reform the filter. Since the hot air supplying port 105 is arranged in a position in opposite to the exhaust gas intake portion 6, the purifier device can have a simple structure in which stagnation is exhaust gas is minimized.</p> |
