PURPOSE:To appropriately control the value of seal pressure, and to enhance the performance of a seal member during high speed running of a vehicle, by forming, in the base section of a seal member, inside and outside hollow sections which are formed in parallel, and by controlling vacuum fed into the hollow sections in accordance with the opening and closing operations of the door. CONSTITUTION:A seal member 1 attached to the outer periphery of a door D in a vehicle is composed of an attaching section 2 fitted in an attaching section 2 and a lip section 4 which is made into contact with the sealed surface H of an entrance opening when the door D is closed. The base section 3 has a pair of inside and outside hollow sections 5, 6 which are partitioned by a partition wall 7 and which are selectively connected through a selector valve 11 to a vacuum pipe line 19 communicated to a vacuum tank 18 and a normal pressure pipe line 20 communicated with the outside air through an air cleaner 21. Further, this solenoid valve 11 is controlled to be changed over so that the inside and outside hollow sections 5, 6 are communicated with the normal pressure pipe line 20 and the vacuum pipe line 19, respectively, when a door lamp switch 12 is turned on during opening of the door D. |
