<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the subject adhesive, composed of a principal agent consisting essentially of a thermoplastic polyester urethane resin and a specific curing agent, excellent in initial adhesion to low-polar adherends such as a polyolefinic thermoplastic resin and heat resistance and capable of spray coating. CONSTITUTION:The objective adhesive composed of (A) a principal agent consisting essentially of a thermoplastic polyester urethane resin obtained by reacting a hydroxyl group-terminated saturated polyester resin with an aliphatic diisocyanate and (B) a curing agent containing an urethane prepolymer, prepared by reacting a hydrogenated hydroxyl group-terminated polybutadiene glycol with a polyisocyanate and having active isocyanate groups and the polyisocyanate. Furthermore, the aforementioned components are preferably blended in respective amounts based on 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic polyester urethane resin as follows; 0.1-50 pts.wt. urethane prepolymer and 2-50 pts.wt. polyisocyanate.</p> |
