PURPOSE:To obtain easy take out of a corrugated cardboard by providing a lined- up free rollers in a vertically movable manner over a conveyor, leaving a certain amount of gap, and conveying the cardboards while they are held by both the conveyor and the free roller together with, if necessary, making the free roller ascend rapidly. CONSTITUTION:The gap between a conveyor 1 and a free roller 5 is adjusted in advance in consideration of thickness of a corrugated cardboard and conveying speed. In other words, by operating a handle 9, an arm 7 is pivotally rotated via a lateral shaft 10, a bevel gear 11 and 12, and a longitudinal shaft 13 etc. in order to adjust the height of a free roller 5 supported at the end of the arm 7. Corrugated cardboards fabricated by a box fabricating machine are introduced into a driven roller in a state in which the cardboards are partially overlapped with each other. Then, the cardboards are pressed down and brought into a space between the conveyor 1 and the free roller 5 to be conveyed. When a corrugated cardboard is to be taken out for inspection while it is conveyed, an air cylinder 16 is operated to lower the base end of the arm 7, thereby making the free roller 5 ascend rapidly. |
