<p>PURPOSE:To select a required menu only by moving a position input device back and forth or right and left without gazing at a menu display part by selecting one of menu items arranged so as to surround a point indicated by the position input device displayed on a display device while moving the position input device. CONSTITUTION:A computer system is provided with the position input device 25 and the display device 20 and one of the menu items 12 arranged so as surround the point P indicated by the device 25 display on the device 20 selected by moving the device 25. Since the menu items 12 are displayed so as to surround the point P indicated by the device 25, the moving distance of the device 25 necessary for selecting each menu item is extremely slight. Thus, a required menu item can be selected while observing the menu area.</p> |
