<p>PURPOSE:To obtain resistance element array easy to be manufactured which are capable of setting the resistance value over a wide range and printing with one screen frame, by forming notches together with nicks in resistance bodies, and directly connecting a common electrode with one of element electrodes. CONSTITUTION:In a strip-shaped ceramic substrate 1, many break grooves 14 are formed in parallel with the longitudinal direction of a resistance element array. A common electrode 3 is formed along one end edge of the substrate, and a plurality of element electrodes 5 are formed at equal intervals along the other end edge. Between the electrode 3 and the electrodes 5, notches 10 for facilitating resistance value adjustment are formed, and nicks 7 also are made. Resistors capable of setting a longer length for a resistor 6 are arranged. The electrode 3 is directly electrically connected with one of the electrodes 5, and a lead frame terminal 12 is connected with each of the electrodes 5. Primary dividing is performed along the break grooves 14 arrange in the longitudinal direction of the substrate 1. Break grooves 16 are made in the transversal direction for every specified number of element, and secondary dividing is performed, thereby manufacturing resistance element arrays. Hence the length of a resistance body can be made large, wide range adjustment is enabled, and many screen frames are unnecessitated.</p> |
