摘要 PURPOSE:To finely control the auxiliary air flow by reciprocating a stepping motor to drive and control a control valve at a high speed in an auxiliary air passage detouring a throttle valve between neighboring step positions, so as to control to increase and reduce the passage area of the control valve at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:To an auxiliary air passage 3 provided to a suction pipeline 1 bypassing a throttle valve 2, a control valve 5 driven by a stepping motor 4 is provided, and the stepping motor 4 is driven and controlled responding to a pulse signal of an exciting current fed from an electronic control device 6. In such a control device, the stepping motor 4 is controlled electrically to reciprocate between neighboring step positions at a high speed, so as to increase and decrease the passage area of the control valve 5 at a high speed. As a result, an auxiliary air flow equal to the passage area responding to the area between the neighboring step positions can be obtained, and the auxiliary air flow can be finely controlled.
