PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of an offset and the wear and tear of a fixing roller over a long period of time by providing an oil absorptive fiber body, at least the part of which in contact with the surface of the fixing roller is constituted of fibers coated with a silicone resin in at least a part of the surfaces. CONSTITUTION:The oil absorptive fiber body, at least the part of which in contact with the surface of the fixing roller is constituted of fibers coated with the silicone resin in at least a part of the surface, is provided. The surface, therefore, fits well to silicone oil and the uniform application of the silicone oil on the surface of the fixing roller is possible; therefore, the accumulation of toners on the fixing roller is obviated. The generation of the offset is prevented over a long period of time and the wear and tear of the fixing roller are prevented. |
