<p>PURPOSE:To collect dust over the whole surface of a filter by forming an insulating part on the hill parts of a wavy plate so as not concentrate electric discharge in the hill parts. CONSTITUTION:When air is sucked from a sucking inlet where a fan is operated, large-size dust is removed by a pre-filter, and after that, dust particles in air are electrically charged by corona discharge between a discharge electrode 41 and an opposite plate 42, the electrically charged particles are collected by a dust collecting filter material 11 connected to an earthing electrode of a discharging apparatus in a filter 1, and air brought into contact with a deodorization filter 12 is deodorized. At that time, since an insulating material 17 is put on each hill part of a wavy plate facing to the discharging apparatus in a filter 1, electric discharge is not concentrated on the hill part even when the space distance between the discharging apparatus and the filter 1 is shortened and uniform discharge is carried out in the filter 1. As a result, the surface area of the filter is efficiently used.</p> |
