PURPOSE:To make an external appearance favorable, improve a commodity value and display a reliable sealing effect, by a method wherein at the time of a cooling process, an abutting part is put on a moving device moving a sealing band and the abutting part is cut off after cooling. CONSTITUTION:At the time when a sealing band 1 extrusion-molded through an extruding machine 2 is passed through a high-frequency vulcanizing furnace 3, hot air furnace 4 and cooling tank 5 through a moving device 6, the sealing band 1 is put and supported on the moving device 6 with an abutting part 13 and tip sealing surface 11a of each sealing leg 11. With this construction, partial charge of a load of the band 1 can be taken and the central part of the outside of the band 1 can be supported with the abutting part 13. Therefore, it is eliminated during manufacturing of the bank 1 not only that the central part of the outside of the band 1 becomes a depression deformation but also that the outside becomes dirty, an external appearance becomes favorable and a reliable sealing effect can be displayed. |
