PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for relative position movement and to shorten a photography time by providing an arithmetic control means and controlling plural driving mechanisms at the same time, and moving a radiation detector to a target position so that an arcuate track is drawn. CONSTITUTION:A vertical ceiling plate driving mechanism A moves a ceiling plate where a specimen 31 is mounted vertically, a detector rotary driving mechanism B rotates the radiation detector 33 around the axis of the specimen 31, and a horizontal detector driving mechanism C is a mechanism for moving the detector 33 horizontally through a stand 35. Then a memory 27 and a sub- CPU 11 constitute the arithmetic control means and controls the mechanisms A, B, and C at the same time according to instructions from a main CPU 12 for cooperation, so that the detector 33 moves to the target position while drawing the desired arcuate track without coming in contact with the specimen 31.
