PURPOSE:To enhance the operability of a shower head by making it possible to allow a shower water supply piping to easily and selectively communicate and connect with either one of a shower injecting through-hole and a jet stream through-hole by the relative rotation of a pair of sliding plates. CONSTITUTION:When a shower jet stream is desired to be obtained at the time of a usual shower, a cylindrical casing 20 is relatively rotated with respect to a shower water supply piping 21 to allow the valve hole 33 of one sliding plate 31 to communicate with the valve port 43 of the other sliding plate 42. When a strong jet stream is desired to be obtained at the time of the washing of a bathtub, a head hanger is detached from a shower head A to be turned toward the inner surface of the bathtub and the cylindrical casing 20 is again relatively rotated by 180 deg. with respect to the shower water supply piping 21 to allow the valve port 32 of one sliding plate 31 to communicate with the valve port 43 of the other sliding plate 42. By this method, the shower water supplied to the head A reaches a jet stream through-hole 35 through a flow path 36 to be injected to the inner surface of the bathtub. |
