Automatic compensation circuit for a longitudinal transmission system

Circuit for compensating the phase and the amplitude of a first signal and a second signal which are transmitted and received via the line of a telephone subscriber. The apparatus comprises a means for detecting a difference in phase and amplitude between said first and second signals; a programmable digital processing means sensitive to the means for detecting amplitude and phase, in order to generate digital control signals indicating the phase and amplitude difference between the first and second signals; and a means sensitive to the control signals for equalizing the amplitude and the phase of said first and second signals. The apparatus permits transmission and reception of a first signal and a second signal of information via the line of a telephone subscriber simultaneously with phone communications via the same subscriber line.
