This system consists in providing a vehicle of the type which have conventional rubber wheels with a battery unit capable of powering the propulsion equipment and with sliding coupling means in electrical connection with underground lines, in such a manner that the vehicle is able to function, without distinction, with both versions and even with a third possibility of connection to overhead electric lines if this were necessary. <IMAGE>
