PURPOSE:To secure cell characteristics excellent in uniform temperature distribution in the direction of lamination by letting cooling medium flow into cooling boards located apart from each center section of cooling boards located at the center section of a laminated cell body. CONSTITUTION:Cooling medium is supplied to cooling boards 5b and 5c located at the center section of a laminated cell body first by way of an inlet cooling header 6b branched from an inlet cooling base pipe 7a so that the section is cooled, and the cooling water is supplied as it is to cooling boards 5a and 5d cooling each unit cell located at the upper and lower sections which excert a greater influence on radiation, so that the sections are thereby cooled while water is being collected to an outlet cooling base pipe 7b through an outlet cooling header 6b so as to be exhausted. When sections high in temperature are cooled by cooling medium low in temperature, and when sections lower in temperature than the aforesaid sections are cooled by cooling medium slightly raised in temperature as described above, uniform temperature distribution in the direction of lamination is provided so that excellent cell characteristics can thereby be secured. |
