<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the load in system development by defining the shape of display elements constituting a display screen with display sizes on a virtual screen and generating display data corresponding to the display characteristic information of screen display device in use. CONSTITUTION:An image plane data storage device 10 stores image plane data DS on the display positions and display sizes of the display elements on a monitor screen when they are displayed on the screen with virtual display characteristics. A screen display means 11 when inputting a display request signal S2 from an input means 5 reads the screen data DS corresponding to screen number data D2 which is inputted currently out of the screen data storage part 10. Then display data D6 - D8 corresponding to CRT display devices 3a - 3c selected for display operation are generated according to the display characteristic information which is stored in advance and outputted to the corresponding CRT display devices 3a - 3c. Thus, the display characteristic information of the screen display device is added to generate the display data. Consequently, the load in the system development can be reduced.</p> |
