PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of holding and directivity in the metallic foil of a laminate by bringing a specific rugged roll into contact with the surface of the metallic foil to impart ruggedness on the surface of the metallic foil, thereby providing the nondirectivity of light reflection on the metallic foil surface. CONSTITUTION:The rugged roll having the surface constitution with which the number of the projecting parts existing on the front surface of the rugged roll is 5,000 to 150,000 pieces/inch<2> and the depth of the recessed parts is 10 to 200mu is brought into contact with the surface of the metallic foil of the lami nate composed of the metallic foil and synthetic resin film. Ruggedness is imparted to the metallic foil surface to provide the nondirectivity of the light reflection on the metallic foil surface. Liquid crystal display is, therefore, easily readable from any directions if this reflecting plate is used by being built into the display device of an electronic desk calculator, television set, etc. The hold ing of the metallic foil is prevented even if the metallic foil is formed thin. The weight of the reflecting plate is reduced by forming the reflecting plate thin. |
